Orenburg-Borisov-Moskva

Categories: Wartime, Ira Motolyga

How long did it take you to get from Orenburg to Borisov?

My mother told me it took 14 days. Not to Borisov, but to Moscow. We wanted to stay in Moscow, but they built barracks for the evacuees. There were barracks there. People came up to us and said, «Stay in Moscow». But mother said, «No, no, we are going to Borisov, may be our father will find us. And here we will get lost. We will go to Borisov».
