About
The conception, structure and content of the e-museum have been developed from 1 March 2013 to 28 February 2015; the museum is the result of the joint work carried out by the competent and creative staff of Daugavpils University, Yanka Kupala Grodno State University and the Daugavpils’ association “Innovation and Development Promotion Centre” involved in the implementation of the project “Popularization of the Centres of Oral History in the LV – BY Cross-Border Area”, (Project ID No. LLB–2–143) within the Latvian, Lithuanian and Belarusian Cross Border Cooperation Programme.
The aim of the project and the conception of the e-museum – to provide the academic circles and the population of the regions involved in the project with the access to historical knowledge of the cultural heritage in the cross-border area of Latvia and Belarus thus raising the public awareness about the necessity to preserve culture.
The e-museum “Vitamemoriae” launched during the implementation of the project makes this knowledge accessible to all users of the internet.
We will be happy if the developed product of the transfer of knowledge to society will provide you with new experience, knowledge and impressions by means of the exchange of ideas, viewpoints and opinions!
